Born on 31 May 1822 at Østergård, a farm in Ryde parish, northeast of Holstebro, Sophie was a daughter of Otto August la Cour (no. 12) and Ane Cathrine la Cour. She worked as a teacher for her father’s cousin Holger (no. 51) at Søholt manor and died on 17 November 1842. (No children.)
